About Me

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.  Cami Ostman, M.S., LMFTAs such, I am trained specifically to work with groups, couples and families in addition to providing counseling to individuals. I am located in Bellingham and Seattle.

I approach therapeutic conversations from a systemic perspective, which means that I am interested not only in what is happening on the inside of a person, but also in the family and other social contexts in which an individual participates.  These contexts help us form our values and influence our ways of operating in the world.  I believe they are important and deserve to be attended to.

I believe that conflict resolution and healing happen best in the context of accepting, non-judgmental relationships. I seek to create such relationships with the individuals, couples, families or organizations who consult with me.

My goal as a counselor is to support you, the client, as you navigate through a difficult or complex part of your life’s journey.
